Cat Werk Imprint have announced the completion of a new Olivia Louvel album, entitled ‘Beauty Sleep’ and due for release on 5th September 2014. The album will be available as a CD digi-pack.

Composed & produced by Olivia with additional production & mix by Paul Kendall, ‘Beauty Sleep’ is her fifth studio album containing 11 new tracks and includes ‘In My Shed’ – described as a remake of Recoil’s ‘Stone’ from the ‘Hydrology’ album of 1988. (We say this is actually much more of an Olivia song which happens to feature Recoil loops rather than a remake.)
In conjunction with the album, Olivia has also produced a series of short experimental films called ‘The Beauty Sleeps’. These are due to be published also in September via her website – the place to find all information about the project and Olivia’s full history & catalogue :
